We do our part to help our customers achieve their goals of zero-injury work records. Our technicians go through extensive hours of safety training each year on a variety of sites.

Additional Training:

  • 40 hour Hazwoper training
  • 8 hour Hazwoper refresher training
  • CPR/First Aid
  • TWIC cards
  • Railway Safety training
  • Forklift training
  • Excavation and Competent Person Training
  • Site-specific training as needed

Health and Safety Meetings – Prior to beginning work each day, Red Soil requires onsite personnel to conduct a Health and Safety Meeting.  The job specific HASP is reviewed and signed by everyone involved.

Job Safety Analysis – The purpose of the JSA is to identify potential hazards and to mitigate their exposure through control methods that establish the safest way to perform each task of the job. A JSA focuses on the relationship between the worker, the task, the tools, and the work environment.  Red Soil technicians review the appropriate JSAs during the H&S meetings.

During all onsite activities, Red Soil technicians will set up safety cones and sticks to secure the area.  Our technician safety is our main priority.
